Many watch owners attempt to change straps at home using improvised tools—this can result in scratched lugs, bent spring bars or a dropped watch. Spring bars must be the correct size and type; using the wrong size can cause the strap to detach unexpectedly.
We use professional spring bar tools and always fit new spring bars. Old spring bars can be worn or weakened; replacing them ensures your watch stays securely on your wrist. We stock spring bars in various diameters and lengths to suit different lug widths.
Metal bracelets require additional care. We have the tools and experience to resize metal bracelets for a comfortable fit. For leather straps we ensure the correct length for your wrist. Vintage watches often have unusual lug widths—we can advise on compatible straps.
